A look into Heather & Terry Dubrow’s Dream Home

When Heather and her husband Dr. Terry Dubrow embarked on a journey to design and build their family home off the picturesque Southern California coast, they decided that their personal influence coupled with the advice of a team of experts would ultimately net them the home of their dreams. The neoclassic influenced architecture sets the tone for the fourteen thousand square foot residence where moulding and millwork abound, accentuating the enormous attention to detail invested into this truly sophisticated family home.

Literally every square foot of the home was developed and designed by Heather along with a team of architectural, design, and contract consultants. Having learned from a comedy of trial and errors in previous homes, Heather enlisted long time friend and interior designer Jessica Calvert to help bring the home to life. The synergy between the two is undeniable and they spent countless hours together further designing, customizing, and shopping for every element right down to the door handles. Jessica’s keen eye for balance and practicality coupled with Heather’s streamlined decision making process made them a match made in design heaven.

Originally from the east coast, Heather drew inspiration from the rich architectural details of the homes where she grew up. Heather’s vision was interpreted in stone to create the impressive facade of columns, pediments, and Palladian windows. Accentuated by palm trees and manicured gardens, the residence seems perfectly at home atop the rolling seaside bluff.
